Test your DICA BlueCrypt devices

DICA offer it's customers a BlueCrypt® test site. There are several possibilities to test your device. We own video conference systems equipped with BlueCrypt® devices and an Auto Answer function a so as ISDN telephone sites for manual testing. Please ensure the following for a sucessful test.


  • Connect the power supply of your BlueCrypt® with a suitable power source
  • The BlueCrypt® will boot, the red control light will flash a short time
  • Connect the network port with your ISDN port with an suitable ISDN cable
  • Connect the application port with the ISDN port of your application with an suitable ISDN cable
  • Ensure that the application (Video Conference, Telephone) is powerd on
  • The green status lights are flashing per connected ISDN Port

 Please dial now the correct test number that corresponds to your used device type (telephone, video conference). The orange control lights of your ISDN ports should blink as an indicator for usage. The control light at the upperside ob BlueCrypt® device indicate with green light an full encrypted connection. If one B-channel is not encrypted, the light will flash red.

The local management program SCC, the BlueCrypt®-Security Monitor and the EncStatus software also support a monitoring of the encryption state.
